We have celebrated the end of the term (and year) with showing our work to parents. We sung, read, played and performed all of our favourite learning from our renewable energy topic with pride!

A Year 5 Celebration!
This week we invited our families into our classes to take part in our celebration event for our ‘Saving Our World’ topic. We have been looking at an artist that uses snare pictures so decided to recreate our own by decorating table cloths to show the story of fair trade. We had a great response from families. Thank you to everybody that has supported our learning this year!

A Year 6 Celebration
This week we enjoyed our celebration event with our parents. We have been working very hard creating and designing our own new tourist attraction for Westward Ho! There were seven companies: PGL underwater, Westward Pier, Jet Wicked, Funky Festers, Cowphant, Crazy Kayak and Tsunami surfers. Each group calculated costs to make and run the attraction and estimated profits. They then presented their ideas including a short animation of their attraction. Parents said all the ideas were fantastic and they would visit the attractions if money were no object and they could be built.
